As a Security Officer Armed Driver Entry in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location where you will manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. In this armed and driving post, you will remain visible to help discourage incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor activity in accordance with access control protocols and security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and support security-related awareness.
• Assist with screening, directing foot traffic, and maintaining orderly access to restricted and/or controlled areas while following post orders and communication protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card is required.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
