Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a key leadership opportunity to oversee financial reporting, governance and business partnering for a growing mining organisation. You'll lead an established finance team while providing commercial insights that support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, including consolidated accounts.
- Manage the month-end close, reconciliations, journals and financial controls.
- Deliver budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to support business performance.
- Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance, audits and governance.
- Manage treasury, lender reporting, payroll governance and insurance renewals.
- Drive improvements across finance systems, processes and internal controls.
- Lead, mentor and develop the finance team while partnering with senior stakeholders.
About You
- CA or CPA qualified.
- 7+ years' finance experience, including leadership.
- Strong financial reporting, statutory accounting and audit experience.
- Proven budgeting, forecasting and business partnering capability.
- Advanced Excel and ERP systems knowledge.
- Mining or resources experience highly regarded.
