POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Human Resources (HR) Business Partner I plays a key support role within the HR function, working closely with the HR Director to align people's practices with business goals. This role provides day-to-day HR support to site leadership and team members at our locations in Wisconsin and Minnesota and will also travel to other locations within the region to provide support as needed.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:
• Partner with the HR Leader to implement and support HR strategies that meet site-specific
goals.
• Provide guidance on basic HR topics such as policies, procedures, and employee relations under
the direction of the HR Leader.
• Assist in gathering and analyzing HR metrics to identify trends and support informed decision-making.
• Help administer core HR programs (performance management, engagement, onboarding, etc.)
at the site level.
• Participate in employee relations investigations, documentation, and follow-up actions as
needed.
• Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries and support on HR-related issues.
• Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs) with benefits, talent acquisition, and Learning &
Development activities to ensure consistent HR support and compliance at the site.
• Travel to other sites within the region to provide support as needed.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Required Experience
• Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Human Resources certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-SCP, CHRP) is desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 1–4 years of experience in Human Resources. Demonstrated ability to build relationships and provide support to employees and managers.
Skills Required
• HR systems proficiency: Proficient in using basic HR information systems and common office software tools.
• Data support capability: Able to manage routine HR data tasks and generate reports to support team needs.
• Employment law knowledge: Familiar with fundamental labor laws and basic compliance requirements.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel office equipment, objects, tools, or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 5 pounds, and occasionally up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, mid-range vision, and the ability to adjust focus to facilitate using computer. Must be able to focus on multitasking and managing overlapping priorities. Working Conditions
This position typically works on-site but may be a hybrid with approval. The working environment is generally clean; however, this position may be exposed to occasional dust, metals/solder occasional exposure to high noise levels from operating machines or physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts. The employee must wear designated PPE and/or electrostatic dissipative protection where required. Otherwise, office/business casual attire, consistent with site specific safety guidelines is appropriate.
