JOB SUMMARY

 As a Welcome Desk at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), This person is responsible for welcoming new members and update their contact information. Explains programs in detail, renews and extends the membership of existing members, offers upgrades to preferred member status, while providing excellent customer service.

You will add to the success of the MVW team by maintaining high standards and providing the best service. You will need to have a flexible schedule, communicate clearly with coworkers and guests, and follow the company's rules in all situations. Job Requirements

Physical Ability— You must be in excellent physical condition to perform this job.

Work Schedules— Ability to handle complaints in conjunction with service staff to prevent further complications. Ability to express oneself respectfully.

Education, Certification, or Licenses Preferred – Basic secondary education or equivalent

Personal Attributes: Excellent customer service attitude.

Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication with a focus on customer service.

Organization: Multi-Communications.

Essential Functions

Policies and Procedures

○      Respect entry and exit times

○      Use the facilities properly

○      Use the assigned operating equipment properly

○      Apply MVW policies and procedures

(Job Specific Duties)

○      Call members recently affiliated to offer complete membership information and assistance to create online profile and give internet support to navigate thru the web page.

○      Call members to offer upgrades to preferred status.

○      Call deep delinquent members to reactivate them.

○      Answers member’s questions on all Interval International products and services.

○      Provides Supervisor with a daily contacts report.

○      Performs other related duties as required.

Working with Others:

○      Teamwork and integration with service provider.

Site Specific Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of two years telephone experience.
• Must maintain current knowledge about all new and existing membership programs and benefits.
• Must be computer literate and possess knowledge of the iServices system.
• Must possess excellent customer skills.
• Must have excellent telephone etiquette.
• Availability (Schedule), especially for hotel-Related tasks
• Teamwork skills both on and off the job while providing service
