Description
We are looking for a Master Scheduler to join the team in Kelso. In this role, you will be key to balancing customer expectations with internal operational goals, ensuring our schedules remain realistic while protecting both delivery dates and plant efficiency.
Key Accountabilities:
- Master Scheduling & MRP: Maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and run Material Requirements Planning (MRP), proactively spotting and resolving potential issues before they impact production.
- Demand Analysis: Work closely with Program Management to analyze customer demand, directly supporting inventory control, procurement planning, and customer satisfaction.
- Scenario Modeling: Run and evaluate "what-if" scenarios to assess how demand changes affect the unified plan and wider operational performance.
- Delivery Risk Escalation: Identify and escalate any potential risks to product delivery early to maintain our standards for Customer Service Excellence.
- Focus Factory Support: Take clear ownership of key activities that contribute to the smooth running and overall success of the Focus Factory.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience & Qualifications: A degree with 2+ years of relevant experience in scheduling or supply chain operations is preferred (equivalent background and experience will be considered).
- Technical Skills: Sound working knowledge of Excel/Word or Google Workspace, with the ability to quickly pick up internal ERP/MRP systems and Plexus data tools.
- Problem-Solving & Communication: Good organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, along with clear written and verbal communication.
- Working Style: Self-motivated and comfortable working both on your own initiative and alongside the wider team.
- Integrity: A strong commitment to safe working practices and handling commercial/customer data confidentially.
