At SodaStream, part of PepsiCo, we are looking for a Global Planning Sr. Manager
The Global Planning Sr. Manager is a senior leadership role within SodaStream’s Global Supply Chain organization, responsible for leading the end-to-end planning agenda for SodaStream’s Israeli manufacturing operations across metal, assembly and plastics. The role ensures that production capacity, materials, inventory, master data and new product requirements are aligned with global demand, S&OP / IBP priorities and business objectives.
Reporting to the Global Supply Chain Sr. Director, the role is a member of the SodaStream Global Supply Chain Leadership Team and serves as a key interface between Israeli manufacturing, global S&OP, international markets, procurement, R&D, engineering, quality, logistics and cross-site supply chain teams. The position leads an organization of approximately 20 planning and supply chain professionals, including five direct reports.

Responsibilities (English)
- Lead the end-to-end production planning process for SodaStream’s Israeli manufacturing sites across metal, assembly and plastics, translating global demand, S&OP / IBP priorities, inventory targets and operational constraints into executable production plans.
- Set production priorities across plants and subcontractors, balancing service, capacity, inventory, cost and operational stability, while identifying material, capacity and supply constraints and leading mitigation and recovery plans.
- Own planning recommendations for raw materials, buy items, long-lead components, technical warehouse materials and maintenance-related items, ensuring supplier lead times, MOQ constraints, demand variability and inventory objectives are reflected in supply plans.
- Define and govern inventory targets, safety stocks and replenishment parameters, balancing customer service, supply continuity, working capital, obsolescence and operational risk.
- Lead planning-related master data governance, MRP parameters, system inputs, reporting, dashboards and planning analytics to create a reliable single source of truth for planning, supply, inventory and operational decision-making.
- Lead planning readiness for NPI and product changes, including bill-of-materials readiness, material availability, capacity readiness, inventory parameters and cross-functional alignment with R&D, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Quality and global markets.
- Serve as the key planning interface with global S&OP / IBP teams and international markets, providing visibility on capacity, material constraints, service risks, inventory and supply allocation priorities.
- Manage the planning interface with SodaStream Netherlands and other cross-site partners, aligning supply plans, shipment needs, inventory levels, risks and recovery plans to ensure service reliability.
- Lead, develop and strengthen a planning organization of approximately 20 employees, directly managing five team leaders / managers, setting clear objectives, accountability, operating routines and capability-building plans.
- Drive planning standards, governance, process improvement, automation, digitalization and transformation across the planning organization, while contributing to global supply chain strategy and leadership forums.
Qualifications (English)
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business or a related discipline; advanced degree is an advantage.
- At least 10 years of experience in production planning, supply planning, material planning or end-to-end supply chain within a complex manufacturing environment.
- At least 5 years of managerial experience, including proven experience leading planning teams through team leaders or managers.
- Strong knowledge of S&OP / IBP, MRP, capacity planning, inventory management, production scheduling, master data and planning systems.
- Experience working in multi-site manufacturing environments and international supply chains.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate data into clear operational and business decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to align global and local teams across Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, R&D, Engineering, Quality, Logistics and commercial markets.
- Experience with ERP / planning systems, BI / reporting tools, automation, digitalization and planning-system transformation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
- Strong leadership capabilities, including end-to-end supply chain thinking, business acumen, strategic planning, execution discipline, people development, continuous improvement mindset, resilience and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional global environment with competing priorities.
