Senior Software Engineer, Calypso
We’re looking for a Calypso Developer to join our team. In this role, you’ll help build, customize, and support solutions that power critical workflows across global capital markets organizations.

What You’ll Do
- Develop, customize, and support Calypso solutions for clients in the capital markets industry.
- Design and build integrations between Calypso and external systems using APIs and enterprise messaging technologies.
- Develop and maintain applications using Java and R to support business and operational requirements.
- Work closely with product, engineering, and client teams to implement enhancements and deliver successful projects.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize system performance, and contribute to continuous product improvements.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience developing and supporting enterprise software solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Calypso in capital markets environments.
- Strong programming experience with Java and R, including solution development, customization, and integration work.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across global teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, Docker, and distributed architectures.
- Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka, JMS, MQ, or ActiveMQ.
- Experience working with trading, risk management, treasury, or post-trade workflows.
This position will be located in Mexico and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
