Job Title: Cook

Shift: Mixed / Varied (with every other weekend rotation)
Location: Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, Darby, PA
Position Purpose:
The Cook prepares specified items by following recipes and culinary standards set by the executive chef.
As a “Cook” you will be:
Responsible for production of food and ensuring food quality to patients and café customers using JCAHO, HACCP and Trinity company guidelines, policies and recipes.
Work with management to ensure smooth operation and quality control. Responsible for kitchen, work area and storage area sanitation and cleanliness.
Minimum Qualifications:
H.S. Diploma Required
3-5 years cooking experience (Healthcare preferred)
Able to follow oral and written instructions.
Customer service oriented
Effectively communicates with customers, staff and management.
Ability to read, breakdown and expand recipes.
Able to work with minimal supervision and alone.
