Job Title: Cook

Shift: Mixed / Varied (with every other weekend rotation)

Location: Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, Darby, PA

Position Purpose:

• The Cook prepares specified items by following recipes and culinary standards set by the executive chef.

As a “Cook” you will be:

• Responsible for production of food and ensuring food quality to patients and café customers using JCAHO, HACCP and Trinity company guidelines, policies and recipes.

• Work with management to ensure smooth operation and quality control. Responsible for kitchen, work area and storage area sanitation and cleanliness.

Minimum Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma Required

• 3-5 years cooking experience (Healthcare preferred)

• Able to follow oral and written instructions.

• Customer service oriented

• Effectively communicates with customers, staff and management.

• Ability to read, breakdown and expand recipes.

• Able to work with minimal supervision and alone.
