Job Summary
The Fulfillment Specialist is pivotal in making sure all Membership Service Unit activities are completed efficiently and orderly. They work with Membership Support Specialists, Outgoing Mail, and Fulfillment Representatives to ensure both special and day to day assembly work meet both required deadlines and team and departmental goals. Fulfillment Specialist supports the Membership Support Assistants work of creating Membership tickets and work items from both internal and external emails.

Work Location
This position is located onsite in our Topeka, KS office.

What you'll do

• Coordinates large mailings to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.
• Assembles and reviews documents to ensure accuracy of information being mailed and that information is reaching the intended recipient.
• Monitors, images, and verifies accuracy, and routes received group and insured correspondence to the appropriate Membership team for resolution.
• Serves as backup to Membership Support Assistants tasks of creating Membership tickets and work items.
• Completes and mails State of Kansas ID cards and contracts including an annual renewal mass mailing.
• Handles data entry and reporting connected with special mailings and projects.
• Reviews returned mail for the Membership and Claims departments in order to resend or update member addresses.
• Writes and maintains work instructions, procedures and documents results of team activities.
• Performs initial attempts to diagnose ID Card printer issues and responsible to notify contract maintenance vendor if/when necessary.

What you'll need
Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a fulfillment analyst preferred or
• Minimum 2 years' experience managing projects required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong computer skills with ability to learn to effectively utilize corporate computer systems and applications.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc...
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong leadership and both oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both individually and in a team environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and assignments while demonstrating strong initiative and self-motivation.
• Ability to understand membership policies and operating manuals.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Ability to learn query tools such as SQL, QMF.
• Detailed knowledge of corporate policies, membership policies and procedures and legal issues (i.e. COBRA, OBRA, etc) preferred.

Compensation

$20.96 - $26.20 hourly
Non-Exempt Grade 11
