Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Team Lead to ensure the standard of our products and services.
The QA Team Lead responsibilities include developing effective strategies to enhance product quality, overseeing the QA team, and managing system checks.
Our ideal candidate is well-versed with the quality assurance processes and has a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
The role of the QA Team Lead is to maintain high-quality standards in every aspect of the company and ensure that all operations run smoothly and within the guidelines.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Quality Assurance Team Lead/s are responsible for ensuring that products and services meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance.

They play a crucial role in business by ensuring that products meet certain thresholds of acceptability.

• Lead and mentor QA team members
• Implement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of the service or product.
• Identify and remedy defects within the production process.
• Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved.
• Compile and analyze statistical quality data.
• Conduct audits, create audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyze customers’ complaints and make necessary adjustments or improvements
• Comply with all applicable standards and regulations.
• Liaising with internal teams (e.g. Production, engineering, sales, materials, sales, etc) to identify system requirements
• Ensuring standards and guidelines are followed and best practices are maintained
• Overseeing all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Team Lead or relevant role.
• Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards.
• Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and databases.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Great attention to detail and a result driven approach.
• Highschool diploma and experience in Quality Assurance relevant role.
• Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.).
