Your Impact

As a Leader of the Cisco Product GTM Strategy & Execution team, you will shape the future of our Licensing data ecosystem by owning the end-to-end lifecycle of our modern data platform. Through technical leadership and multi-functional collaboration, you will drive our data strategy, empower data-driven decisions, and accelerate go-to-market success.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and implement data engineering strategy, aligning platform architecture with business goals.
• Define enterprise standards for data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, quality, and modeling (including dimensional and Data Vault).
• Nurture a collaborative, high-performing team by mentoring engineers and championing a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence.
• Deliver trusted, reusable data products to support advanced analytics and AI/ML use cases.

Minimum Qualifications

We are looking for an Engineering Leader with 12+ years in software/data engineering, including 3+ years leading data engineering teams.

• Proven experience designing and building enterprise-scale data platforms with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Strong expertise in cloud-based data platforms, including Snowflake, AWS, and/or GCP.
• Deep understanding of data architecture, data modeling, data governance, and data quality principles.
• Experience with modern data stack such as Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, SQL, and Python.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across global, multi-functional teams.

Optional Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience with AI/ML or GenAI-driven data platforms and solutions.
• Exposure to real-time data processing technologies such as Kafka and Spark.
• Experience driving large-scale data platform modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
