Shape the Future of Global Warehousing
Join our Global Logistics Center of Excellence and play a key role in shaping and optimizing a worldwide warehousing network. In this highly visible leadership position, you will drive global standards, operational excellence, digital transformation, and sustainable cost optimization across regions and business units. Your expertise will directly contribute to service excellence, compliance, and customer satisfaction on a global scale.
Your responsibilities
Develop and implement the global warehousing strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
Establish global warehousing standards, governance frameworks, policies, and operating procedures.
Manage and optimize a global warehousing budget of approximately €260 million while identifying efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.
Drive warehouse network optimization initiatives across owned and outsourced operations worldwide.
Define, monitor, and improve warehousing KPIs, analytics, dashboards, and performance management processes.
Lead digitalization, automation, and EWM-related initiatives to enhance operational performance and visibility.
Partner closely with Logistics, Procurement, Manufacturing, Planning, Customer Service, Quality, Finance, and IT to strengthen global supply chain performance.
Foster a global warehousing community, support regional organizations, and lead continuous improvement and transformation programs.
Your qualifications
University degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Over 10 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, and distribution network design within international environments.
Proven track record in managing complex global warehousing networks and leading transformation initiatives.
Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities with experience managing large-scale budgets.
Deep expertise in warehouse management, EWM, automation technologies, and logistics analytics.
Knowledge of GDP requirements and regulated industries; pharmaceutical industry experience is advantageous.
Excellent project management, stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
Fluent English skills and willingness to travel internationally up to 60%; additional languages are a plus.
