Description
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will support safe, efficient, and reliable production of ready-to-eat popcorn products by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing and facility equipment within the Lincoln, Nebraska plant.
Compensation
- Starting pay: $30.55/hour
- Incremental pay increases at 30, 60, and 90 days
- Reach $33.55/hour + $1.00/hour shift differential after 90 days
- Comprehensive benefits beginning on Day 1, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair food processing, packaging, and facility equipment to support safe and efficient operations.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose equipment issues, minimize downtime, and support production line startups, changeovers, and equipment modifications.
- Calibrate and maintain instrumentation, including temperature recorders, transducers, and electronic scales.
- Complete maintenance documentation and comply with all safety, food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while collaborating with production teams and contractors.
- Perform welding, basic fabrication, machine shop work, and facility maintenance as needed.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- 1+ year of maintenance, mechanical, or technical experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, or an associate degree in a related field.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, and electrical systems.
- Ability and willingness to expand technical skills through training, education, and continuous learning opportunities.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, food safety, quality standards, and compliance with uniform and personal protective equipment requirements.
Physical Requirements
Additional information about essential job functions and the facility environment will be provided during the hiring process. Manufacturing environments may involve elevated noise levels and varying temperatures. Physical requirements may include:
- Standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and kneeling for extended periods.
- Performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, and moving materials.
