Job Title: Digital Marketing Account Manager (Franchise & Enterprise)
Location: Fully Remote (U.S. Residents only, 50 States)
Type: Full-Time Temporary Contract (2–3 Months)
Compensation: $35.00 – $37.00 / hour
About the Role
Are you a strategic digital marketing partner who thrives on building strong client relationships, anticipating needs, and driving meaningful business growth? Do you have a proven track record managing franchise, multi-site, and high-growth accounts in a fast-paced agency environment?
At Ignite Visibility, we are shifting the standard of Account Management. We are moving away from reactive order-taking and activity management toward true commercial ownership and strategic partnership.
As a Digital Marketing Account Manager, you will serve as the trusted primary point of contact for a portfolio of 8–12 dedicated client accounts (including franchise and non-franchise brands). You will combine strategic insight, commercial acumen, and deep empathy to drive client retention, uncover expansion opportunities, and consistently deliver high-impact digital marketing strategies.
Core Responsibilities & Expectations
1. Strategic Partnership & Advisory
-
Operate as an Advisor, Not an Order-Taker: Deeply understand each client's business model, overarching goals, and industry landscape to guide strategy proactively.
-
Build Trust at Every Level: Serve as the central point of contact and trusted advisor for key stakeholders, executives, and franchise operators.
-
Simplify & Translate: Translate complex digital marketing data and performance metrics into clear, actionable business insights.
2. Proactive Retention & Account Health
-
Risk Sensing: Anticipate friction points, identify potential risks early, and resolve challenges before they become client issues.
-
Drive Satisfaction: Maintain high CSAT/NPS across your portfolio through rapid, high-quality communication and steady execution.
-
Execution & Delivery: Collaborate closely with internal specialist teams (Paid Search, SEO, Social, UX, Analytics) to ensure top-tier strategy execution and on-time campaign delivery.
3. Expansion & Commercial Ownership
-
Own Outcomes: Take active accountability for client growth, portfolio revenue, and account retention targets.
-
Identify Growth Signals: Spot upsell and cross-sell opportunities naturally by aligning agency capabilities with evolving client business needs.
-
Facilitate Strategic Reviews: Prepare and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), strategic roadmap meetings, change orders, and contract renewals in partnership with Account Leadership.
4. Operational Discipline & Communication
-
Portfolio Efficiency: Efficiently manage a portfolio of 8–12 complex accounts without losing quality, accuracy, or personal warmth.
-
Commercial Operations: Manage billing changes, scoping, new service approvals, and estimate approvals with precision.
-
Project Tool Alignment: Utilize modern agency tools (Asana, Slack, CRMs, Analytics platforms) to keep projects, reporting, and team collaboration organized and transparent.
What We Look For: Candidate & Personality Profile
We believe technical skills can be taught, but character, mindset, and commercial instinct make a great Account Manager. We actively look for candidates who embody:
-
Confidence & Backbone: Comfortable owning the room and having direct, candid business conversations with clients (including difficult ones) without needing to defer or escalate.
-
Outgoing & Personable: Warm, engaging, and empathetic. Builds natural rapport quickly—clients genuinely enjoy working with you.
-
Smart & Curious: Fast on your feet, highly inquisitive, and eager to understand how different business models work and generate value.
-
Resilience & Composure: Calm under pressure. Able to navigate difficult calls or unexpected shifts gracefully, reset quickly, and keep moving forward.
-
Commercial Instinct: Naturally senses growth opportunities and risks, thinking in business terms rather than just task lists.
-
Coachability & Drive: High standards for your own work, open to constructive feedback, adaptable, and eager to continuously learn and improve.
Qualifications & Experience
Must-Have (Required):
-
Experience: 3–5+ years in a digital marketing agency or fast-paced client-facing environment managing multi-channel campaigns (Paid Search, SEO, Social, Content, UX, Analytics).
-
Portfolio Ownership: Proven experience managing a portfolio of complex B2B, B2C, franchise, or multi-location accounts (targeting 8–12 active accounts).

-
Location: Must be a legal resident currently residing in one of the 50 United States.
Nice-To-Have:
-
Direct experience working with franchise systems, co-ops, or multi-site organizations.
