As a Product Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in driving the growth and market success of ABB's Smart Buildings portfolio (DIN Rail related products). You will execute product marketing strategies, develop business plans, analyze market trends, and enable sales teams with the insights, tools, and training needed to accelerate growth. Working closely with customers, sales teams, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will help strengthen ABB's market position while improving customer satisfaction and delivering business results.

 

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Executing product marketing strategies and annual marketing plans for assigned products, ensuring clear product positioning, strong value propositions, and alignment with global and local business objectives.
• Driving business growth through market analysis, customer research, demand forecasting, competitor benchmarking, and the development of business plans to capture new opportunities and achieve marketing targets.
• Enabling sales success by providing product expertise, technical and commercial training, sales tools, and marketing materials that improve sales effectiveness and customer engagement.
• Collaborating with customers, sales, order handling, and logistics teams to optimize product availability, enhance customer experience, improve Net Promoter Score (NPS), and achieve order growth objectives while maintaining high standards of integrity, compliance, and safety.

 

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or prior electrification related experience.
• Min. of 2 to 5 years of experience in product marketing, product management, technical sales, business development, or marketing within the electrical, smart buildings, building technologies, or automation industries.
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage electrical products, building electrification solutions, smart building technologies, energy management systems, or similar ABB and competitor product portfolios.
• Experience in developing marketing plans, conducting market analysis, forecasting demand, and driving product or business growth initiatives.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to translate customer and market insights into actionable business strategies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience delivering product training and supporting sales teams.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction, collaboration, integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced business environment.
