Salary: $50-60k

Filterbuy, a leader in the air quality and manufacturing world, is seeking a Weekend Production Supervisor to lead daily production activities at our New Kensington facility. This role supervises production employees, coordinates workflow, and drives safety, quality, and efficiency to meet production goals.

This role will report to the Plant Manager and work onsite in New Kensington, PA, four days per week, Friday–Monday, 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supervise production employees, assign daily work, and communicate production priorities and performance expectations.

• Review production schedules, run lists, and reports to coordinate staffing, materials, and equipment availability.

• Monitor output, quality, downtime, and material usage; resolve issues that affect production goals.

• Enforce safety procedures, personal protective equipment requirements, and safe equipment operation; promptly address hazards and report incidents.

• Train, coach, and motivate employees; address attendance, performance, and team concerns with plant leadership and People Operations.

• Coordinate with Maintenance to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.

• Monitor supplies and communicate replenishment needs to maintain uninterrupted production.

• Partner with Inventory, Shipping, and other departments to maintain product flow and meet customer commitments.

• Maintain accurate production records and provide clear updates and handoffs between weekend and weekday teams.

• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and control manufacturing costs while maintaining quality.

• Maintain clean, organized work areas and perform other related duties as assigned.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Working knowledge of production workflows, quality standards, and applicable workplace safety requirements, including OSHA standards.

• Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and motivate employees while maintaining accountability.

• Strong communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to review production reports, prioritize competing needs, and respond to changing production demands.

• Basic computer proficiency and accurate recordkeeping skills.

• Availability to work Friday–Monday, 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform required bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Ability to work around operating machinery, noise, and varying temperatures while wearing required protective equipment.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in air filtration, assembly, packaging, or similar manufacturing operations.

• Experience with continuous improvement, waste reduction, and productivity initiatives.
