- Credit Card Reports/Verification/Reversals
- Auditing & Process Certified Payments, and other financial transactions
- Audit Unpaid Vouchers
- Create & Process Daily Deposit
- Mail out of Letters to Un-cleared Check Holders
- Bank Reconciliation Exceptions
- Deposit of Overage Funds
- Process Change Requests
- Maintain Financial Records Retention/Scanning
- Assist in Processing Collections/Compliance
- Copier meter readings
- Assist in special projects as assigned by County Clerk
- Track and deposit Travis Events Committee funds
- Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma/GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of clerical experience including cash handling and customer service; two (2) years preferred.
- Prior experience working in a financial capacity.
- Basic math and spelling skills required.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills including diplomacy and problem-solving to interact effectively with vendors, employees, agencies, and elected officials.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the position.
- Ability to independently complete tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Overtime may be required.
- Valid Texas Driver License and continuous proof of vehicle insurance
STARTING SALARY: $15.30 hourly, Up to 29 hours per week
CLOSING DATE: Upon filling position
