Description
Our client is a leading provider of insulation and building envelope solutions for commercial and residential construction projects. They are seeking a Regional Director of Sales to lead their Denver/Albuquerque sales team.
What You'll Do
- Drive regional revenue growth aligned with margin expectations and operational capacity
- Maintain discipline around pricing, bid strategy, and backlog quality
- Lead, coach, and develop Project Managers and sales personnel across the region
- Establish and maintain relationships with key customers and strategic accounts
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline visibility
- Collaborate with the Regional Operations Director to align backlog with production capacity
- Identify market trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities
- Support acquisition integration by aligning customer relationships and sales processes
- Ensure consistent sales practices and standards across branches
- Hold sales team accountable for performance, activity, and results
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior sales experience required. Experience with sales in the construction industry preferred
- Leadership or construction management/project management experience preferred
- Demonstrate a professional demeanor, strong sales and customer service skills as well as showing initiative, being goal-oriented and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Excellent interpersonal communication and motivational skills and the ability to effectively read, speak and write the English language
- Demonstrate attention to detail and creativeness in assisting customers. Must be resourceful and networking to provide complete customer satisfaction
- Basic math skills required and ability to read a tape measure. Blueprint/spec’s reading ability is helpful, but not necessary
- Basic computer skills including the use of e-mail, calendar for scheduling and design software
- Ability to use good judgment and problem-solving skills while striving to work safely at all times
