We are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to lead quality domain of Applied Materials cutting-edge suppliers as part of the Engineering department (ETP)

Our group:
Supplier Engineering group is part of the R&D Division. The group includes highly experienced engineers in several disciplines, such as Mechanics, Optics, Electronics, Motion, Computing and more. Main interfaces are R&D engineers and managers, Supply Chain Purchasing, Operations, Manufacturing, Qual and more. The group is managing all technical aspects of manufacturability at cutting-edge suppliers worldwide and enabling smooth manufacturing processes in our facility in Rehovot
What you'll be doing?
- Lead and support investigation and assessment of supplier non conformances from initiation to effective resolution
- Analyze quality trends and set up actions, gather relevant intelligence and advice management on remedial actions
- Serve as the Engineering representative in MRB (Material Review Board) meetings, performing technical assessments, risk evaluations, disposition recommendations, and driving closure of open actions.
- Monitor, interact report and provide clear view of the non-conformances related to production lines, manage activities with R&D and suppliers
- Collaborate with suppliers to achieve continuous improvement in terms of product quality, FPY, SPC & 8D.
- Root cause analysis – investigate and determine root cause of any non-conformances issues and ensure corrective action deployment.
- Identify and manage potential quality risks associated with supplier performance, including supply chain disruptions and non-conformance issues
What you should have?
- BSc in Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Quality education: Certified Quality Engineer - an advantage
- Lead auditor certification – an advantage
- Experience: 5+ Years of experience under relevant professional positions
- Experience with ISO 13485/IATF 16949/AS9100 an advantage
- Familiarity with FAI and APQP requirements - an advantage
- Experience working with Suppliers through Development/ Engineering transitions and Sustained manufacturing processes
- Proven experience in multidisciplinary companies and Engineering processes
- High Technical capabilities, Demonstrating in-depth comprehensive understanding within own discipline and wide knowledge of others.
- Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
