Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist in our North Mankato-MN facility.

Work Authorization:

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintain SQF and GMP documented information for the facility. This includes writing, revising, and training employees on work instructions and forms
• Generate KPI quality data for reporting to management team using various e-data systems
• Review production documentation for compliance with quality standards and evaluate and analyze discrepancies and issues
• Perform internal audits and compliance assessments of production and quality systems
• Support production department in maintaining calibration of all equipment used for manufacturing activities related to compliance and customer requirements
• Create and issue eCARs/NCMRs when necessary
• Assist Management in implementing and maintaining plant quality levels
• Provide support to Management during Customer and 3rd Party audit activities
  

Your Shift:

• Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Extended, weekend and additional hours may be required. Hours of work are structured to meet service demand and the needs of our customers and their clients.

You Must Have:

• Quality orientated mindset with a strong background of operating procedures within a manufacturing environment
• Intermediate to advance use of MS Office suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Good mathematical skills and attentiveness to detail

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)
  

We Would Also Prefer:

• Experience in ISO 9001 and SQF standards
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Lean six sigma certified
• 2+ years’ experience
  

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $65,000 - $72,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
