Global Financial Accounting – SAP ERP Senior Consultant - Financial Accounting (FI-GL) 100% (f/m/d)

We are seeking an experienced SAP FI-GL and ERP Senior Consultant with focus on FI-AA, RE-FX, TRM, Authorizations to spearhead the design, customization, and optimization of our General Ledger and core financial accounting processes. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable, compliant SAP solutions and ensure seamless integration with controlling (CO) and other core modules (MM, SD, FICO, AP, AR, ECCS).
You will support global operations over 35 entities as well as work on global projects.

YOUR CHALLENGE

General Ledger Configuration & Customization

• Design and configure new legal entities with all relevant areas

• Configure Parallel Accounting setups (e.g., using ledger or accounts approach) to support multiple reporting standards such as IFRS and local GAAP

• Implement automated Validations and Substitutions to maintain data integrity and streamline month-end close processes

• Handle authorization related developments, changes

Integration & Data Governance

• Manage integration mapping between FI and logistics modules (MM, SD, PP) to ensure accurate automatic account determination

Project Delivery & Testing

• Lead blueprinting and realization workshops to map "AS IS" and "TO BE" processes

• Author functional specifications for custom developments (RICEFW) and collaborate with ABAP developers

• Develop test scenarios, execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and manage cutover tasks

YOUR PROFILE

• Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Information Technology

• Experience: Minimum 6 years of hands-on SAP configuration experience, specifically emphasizing the FI-GL module and FI-AA, TRM, RE-FX and Authorizations; experience in a banking environment is an advantage

• Platform: Proven deployment and customization experience within SAP S/4HANA environments

• Key Skills: Deep understanding of accounting principles, record-to-report (R2R) processes, and complex financial reporting.

• Soft Skills: Fluent in English and/or German (written and spoken), strong communication skills, high motivation and drive to get things done, hands-on mentality and entrepreneurial spirit, high flexibility
