AV Installation Technician

Compensation: $32.00 - $42.00 / hour

You Are:
You Are:
- A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.
You Have:
- Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, High EQ.
Your Location:
- In-Person (Not Remote or Hybrid)
- 8107 Commercial St. La Mesa, CA 91942
Your Schedule:
- Full-Time | 40 Hours Per Week
- Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm
- Plus rotating on-call service rotation
Your Manager:
- Steven, CEO
Your Contribution to Sound Automation:
- Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron, Crestron)
- Mount devices at the ends of those wires
- Build and lace equipment racks
- Complete one-room audio/video installs and setup
- Basic networking/data system installation and setup
- Advanced troubleshooting of simple systems
- Basic programming (Lutron Home/C4/Josh.ai)
Requirements:
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background check (required for DCJS certification)
Sound Automation's Contribution to You:
- $32-$42/hr – Yup!
