Your Impact on Our Mission
As a QA Analyst, you will play a key role in strengthening Zocdoc’s quality ecosystem by ensuring that every issue entering our engineering pipeline is accurate, validated, reproducible, and data-backed.
Partnering closely with QA Engineers, Product Engineers, and cross-functional teams, you will transform raw triage data into actionable insights — improving product quality, accelerating issue resolution, and enabling better decision-making.
By driving structured triage processes, reporting automation, and analytical insights within the Triage & Reporting Pod, you will directly impact the reliability of our product and the efficiency of our teams, ultimately helping patients access care with ease.

Your Day to Day Includes…
Triage Operations & Issue Validation
- Reviewing, reproducing, and validating all reported issues for accuracy and completeness
- Determining root ownership using internal tools, logs, and monitoring data
- Ensuring only well-documented, reproducible issues progress to Embedded QA or Product Engineering
- Maintaining structured triage workflows and meeting SLAs during coverage windows, including night triage rotation
Data Collection, Automation & Reporting
- Automating periodic data pulls and dashboards from Jira and QA systems
- Developing scripts/tools to streamline triage and reporting workflows
- Analyzing triage trends (volume, ownership, product areas, resolution, patterns)
- Preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly triage reports with insights and recommended actions
Insight Generation & Quality Decision Support
- Identifying recurring issue patterns and high-impact problem areas
- Surfacing data-backed insights to guide product quality improvements
- Partnering with QA Engineers and Embedded QAs to provide quality intelligence and documentation support
Process & Reporter Enablement
- Creating and maintaining triage playbooks, reusable queries, and data templates
- Identifying reporter friction points and proposing training or documentation improvements
- Supporting QA enablement, knowledge-sharing, and process optimization efforts
AI-Driven Analytics & Predictive Quality
- Collaborating on AI-based reporting, predictive triage, and anomaly detection
- Helping shape future AI-assisted decision-making frameworks within the po
You’d Be Successful in This Role if You Have…
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data, or a related field
- 2+ years of work experience
- Strong analytical skills and root cause identification ability
- Exposure to Jira querying, SQL, Google Sheets, or App Scripts
- An inclination toward automation and data-driven problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage SLAs
- Familiarity with QA processes, triage workflows, and issue lifecycle
- Bonus: experience with AI/ML tools, scripting, dashboards, Snowflake
