Join Our Team as a Manual Machinist at Empower Manufacturing!
The Manual Machinist is responsible for producing precision parts that meet customer specifications using manual lathes, rise and fall mills, and straightening equipment. This role is not simply responsible for running a machine — it is responsible for owning the quality and accuracy of every part that leaves the station.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on machinist who takes pride in precision work, communicates openly with Team Leads and Quality, and is willing to dig into a problem rather than pass it along — including setting up jobs, making adjustments on the fly, reworking parts, and fixing production issues as they're found before they become bigger problems downstream.
Success in this role requires attention to detail, patience, curiosity, and the ability to read a print and turn it into a finished part that meets tolerance every time.
At Empower Manufacturing, we value machinists who are curious, solutions-focused, team-oriented, and willing to continuously sharpen their skills across different equipment and job types rather than sticking to one setup.
