The Risk & Insurance Senior Analyst will support the management of Sandoz's global insurance programs and risk management activities through data collection and analysis, claims administration, policy management, reporting, and stakeholder coordination to ensure effective risk transfer, compliance, and protection of the company.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Support the administration and renewal of global and local insurance programs, ensuring policy information is accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with company and market requirements.
In collaboration with other team members collect and analyze insurance data including claims data to identify trends, support decision-making, and contribute to risk mitigation initiatives. Prepare and issue the insurance and risk related reportings.
Coordinate insurance claims management activities, including claim notification, documentation, tracking, and communication with internal stakeholders.
Collect, analyze and ensure high-quality insurance data including asset and construction related elements.
Support insurance compliance activities by maintaining policy documentation, certificates of insurance, premium invoices and records required for internal and external audits.
Prepare insurance and risk management reports, dashboards, presentations, and key performance indicators for management review.
Assist in the evaluation of insurance coverage, policy wording, and renewal proposals to support optimal coverage and cost efficiency.
Coordinate internal (central and network) risk management related initiatives.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and insurance data quality management.
In collaboration with subject matter experts and business partners design processes, procedures and training materials.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential and Desirable Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field preferred.
Professional Insurance or Risk Management certifications (e.g., ARM, CPCU, ACII) are desirable.
Experience:
2–5 years of experience in insurance, risk management, finance, audit, or related analytical role.
Experience working with insurance brokers, insurers, or multinational insurance programs desired.
Exposure to claims management, insurance renewals, or risk analysis activities.
Strong proficiency in data analytics, reporting tools, preparing presentations, and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience working in a multinational and cross-functional environment is advantageous.
Languages:
English proficiency; German and/or French would be an asset.
Skills and Competences:
Exposure to insurance program administration, claims management, and risk analysis would be an asset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
