Role summary:The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, HVAC, is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems and related equipment to ensure optimal facility operations. This role involves configuring control systems, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. The technician adheres to safety and regulatory standards while collaborating with management and facility partners to support operational efficiency. Effective communication, accurate documentation, and the ability to manage work assignments using digital tools are essential. The position includes participation in on-call rotations and requires safe operation of company vehicles within assigned regions.

What you'll do:
- Service HVAC systems, ductwork, control components, and related building equipment
- Configure and calibrate digital controls, building automation, and low-ambient HVAC applications
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control issues affecting HVAC and facility systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure optimal system operation and reduce downtime.
- Adhere to safety protocols, OSHA standards, and company policies during all service activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, parts usage, and work orders.
- Communicate effectively with facility operators and partners regarding service needs and status.
- Participate in on-call rotations and manage work assignments using digital tools and scheduling systems.
- Operate company vehicles safely
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, ductwork, and control components.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics, layout plans, and documentation to ensure accurate installation and compliance.
- Skilled in configuring and calibrating building automation and direct digital control systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and control-related HVAC issues.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...
Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.
Vocational or technical HVAC certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC and building controls.Option 1: 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical, plumbing, material handling- equipment, or related trades.
Option 2: 2 years’ store experience.
Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass motor vehicle report.
Valid EPA Section 608 Certification for the handling and servicing of refrigerants.• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
