We are seeking a Key Account Manager Hemato-Oncology to join our Commercial Oncology team, supporting Austria and Switzerland. In this role, you will drive sales performance and customer engagement while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and healthcare professionals. When & where:
Location: Austria, field-based
Frequent travel across Austria and Switzerland. Occasional evening and weekend work.
Discover your role:
- Build scientific relationships with healthcare professionals across hematology-oncology.
- Develop and update account plans using market insights and key data.
- Execute marketing strategies aligned with territory and account priorities.
- Deliver sales objectives through effective territory budget management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve shared business objectives.
- Peer-coach sales colleagues and share best practices across the team.
- Contribute to special projects, events, and strategic business initiatives.
- You bring a patient-focused mindset and create value in every interaction.
This role requires:
- Bachelor's degree or similar educational background as well as a successfully completed "Pharmareferentenprüfung" or equivalent academic qualification.
- 8-10+ years of biotech or pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Minimum five years of pharmaceutical sales representative experience.
- Previous experience in biologics and oncology disease areas.
- Significant oncology and/or hematology experience across multiple disease areas.
- Strong knowledge of Austrian and Swiss healthcare systems and market structures.
- Established network of relevant healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance codes and promotional regulations.
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English.
- Strong customer engagement, presentation, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and execute strategic and tactical plans under tight timelines.
- High integrity, ethical conduct, and effective communication skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently across Austria and Switzerland.
- Experience in Multiple Myeloma, Follicular Lymphoma, and/or DLBCL preferred.
- Experience working across Austria and Switzerland preferred.
For this position, the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Trade (Kollektivvertrag Handel) applies; depending on qualifications and professional experience, we offer a salary above the collectively agreed minimum.
Salary Range (annually)
72.075,00 € - 120.125,00 €
