Job Title: Financial planning & Analysis Manager
Department: Finance
Reports To: Head of Finance Africa &Trading
Location: Commercial Office New Cairo
Role Purpose
Lead the Financial Planning & Analysis and Zero-Based Budget agenda for Africa &Trading, providing forward-looking insights, driving performance management, and enabling effective decision-making through robust planning, forecasting and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead AOP, Forecasts, Checkpoints and Long-Range Planning, ensuring robust assumptions and alignment with business strategy.
- Own monthly performance management, consolidating key drivers, risks and opportunities into a clear Africa & Trading performance narrative.
- Drive Zero-Based Budget, cost management and productivity, challenging spending assumptions and identifying value-creation opportunities.
- Partner with Commercial Finance, SCF and functional finance teams to consolidate insights, challenge assumptions and build an integrated A&T financial outlook.
- Lead scenario analysis and financial modelling to support strategic and financial decisions.
- Own the outlook for key KPIs including NSV, GP, EBITDA and FCF, ensuring clear visibility of performance drivers.
- Deliver high-quality management reporting and financial insights to Africa &Trading and regional stakeholders.
- Lead and develop the Financial Planning & Analysis team, building strong analytical, performance management and finance partnering capabilities.
Experience & Qualifications
- 10–12 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in FMCG, consumer goods or a multinational environment.
- Strong track record in Financial Planning & Analysis, forecasting, performance management, and Zero-Based Budget/cost management.
- Strong analytical, financial modelling and commercial finance skills.
- Proven ability to challenge assumptions, influence stakeholders and drive performance.
- Experience in leading and developing finance teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA/Professional qualification is an advantage.
