Summary
Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) Grade 7 certification issued by EMA. Experience in fault troubleshooting, electrical installations, and critical building services.
Job Description
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical failures to minimise disruptions to building operations.
- Monitor electrical installations, switchboards, transformers, generators, UPS systems, and lighting systems.
- Ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Support after-office-hours emergency response when required.
- Provide first-line response to electrical emergencies and power-related incidents.
- Maintain maintenance records, fault reports, and inspection checklists
- Manage and supervise contractors performing electrical works.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved procedures, risk assessments, and permit-to-work requirements.
Requirements:
- NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience.
- Experience in fault troubleshooting, electrical installations, and critical building services.
- Experience in facilities management environment will be an advantage.
- Valid Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) Grade 7 certification issued by EMA.
- Experience in facilities management or integrated facilities management (IFM) environments.
- Experience managing electrical contractors and service providers.
- Required to work on rotating shifts to support operational requirements, no overnight shift is required unless ad-hoc requested by Clients.
