Financial Controller - Reporting & Analysis (Freelance possible)

📋 Tasks and responsibilities

As a Financial Controller, you support business operations in Belgium by ensuring reliable financial follow-up, accurate reporting and continuous improvement of operational processes within an international industrial environment.

• Coordinate and execute closing activities.
• Analyze operational results and deliver relevant financial reporting.
• Follow up financial operations in Belgium.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of operational processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to operational performance.
• Support data validation, reporting and analysis activities.

Location: Brussels, with a minimum onsite presence of 3 days per week.

📝 Your profile

• You have 3 to 5 years of experience as a Finance Controller or Financial Controller.
• You have solid knowledge of general and analytical accounting.
• You are experienced in preparing, analyzing and following up financial reports.
• You have strong Excel skills.
• You are comfortable working with data analysis tools; knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• You combine strong analytical and organizational skills with a proactive and autonomous way of working.
• You communicate effectively and manage stakeholders with confidence.
• You can work efficiently in an international environment.
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is a strong asset.
• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field.
• You are fluent in English, both spoken and written; Dutch is a plus.
