Full Stack Engineer - Assistant Vice President

Overview of the organization:

The COO Enterprise Solution Engineering capability is responsible for the development of best-in-class technology platforms for Operations, including development of an integrated portfolio of Operations tools, end-to-end solution design for large scale transformation initiatives, design governance, and adoption of Generative AI solutions for driving operational efficiencies.
 

Role:  

This role is for an innovative Full Stack Engineer to help the build out of solutions that comprise of agentic flows & application integration, focusing on process efficiencies, automation, simplification, and risk reduction across enterprise business solutions. The successful candidate will contribute to the technical direction of products and services, instil engineering best practices, and promote cultural change within the organization.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Technical Expertise:

• Deep hands-on experience in engineering and executing enterprise solutions that scale effectively.
• Fluency in at least two programming languages, with a strong preference for Java and Python.
• Experience with relevant frameworks such as Spring (AI, Boot, Core, etc.), Flask, LangChain, LangGraph.
• Proficiency in database technologies, such as Oracle, Postgres, or MongoDB.
• Experience with messaging and integration platforms like Kafka or JMS/MQ.
• UI development skills with technologies such as React JS or StreamLit.
• Experience designing and implementing REST and WebSocket APIs.
• Familiarity with one of the major cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm.
• Experience with build and deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins and Gradle.
• Strong engineering experience with high-performance, large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience using AI coding assistants such as CoPilot or Devin.

General Experience & Qualifications:

• A minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in financial services, technology firms, or dynamic start-up environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Agile delivery, product management, and value stream methodologies.
• Proven track record in producing high-quality project artifacts.
• Demonstrated ability to drive the design, development & implementation of scalable systems.
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new skills and effectively navigate complex organizational structures.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
