The position also provides leadership for leave and absence management programs, including FMLA, sick and annual leave, catastrophic leave, leave audits, and ADA workplace accommodation processes. In addition, the Director oversees temporary employment processes and HCM transaction support, including non-recruited appointments, letters of appointment, temporary hourly employees, student employees, and Workday transaction triage. The Director develops and maintains strong partnerships with university leadership, campus stakeholders, NSHE institutions, Business Center South partners, and external vendors to align priorities, improve service delivery, evaluate benefit plan options, support procurement and RFP processes, analyze utilization and market trends, and advance strategic human resources initiatives.
