Workstream Strategy & Delivery Leadership

  • Own priorities, sequencing, capacity assumptions, delivery waterlines, dependencies, and readiness criteria.
  • Lead strategic Alternative Credit initiatives, including Alternative Data, Blended Scores, integrations, compliance, modernization, and customer onboarding.
  • Resolve competing priorities using customer value, impact, risk, feasibility, urgency, and opportunity cost.
  • Maintain predictable delivery by surfacing trade-offs and driving timely corrective action.

Cross Functional Program Leadership

  • Lead complex delivery across Solutions, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Compliance, Operations, Architecture, Customer Success, and support teams.
  • Turn roadmap commitments into outcome-based plans with clear milestones, owners, forecasts, dependencies, and success measures.
  • Manage cross-team risks, impediments, and decisions; escalate with clear options, impacts, and recommendations.
  • Establish planning, forecasting, risk-review, and KPI cadences that improve transparency and accountability.
  • Provide stakeholders clear visibility into delivery health, changes, and corrective actions.

Product Development Lifecycle Ownership

  • Own delivery from discovery and commitment through launch, adoption, and iteration.
  • Maintain traceability across outcomes, roadmap commitments, requirements, delivery plans, releases, and results.
  • Re-plan using customer feedback, KPIs, regulatory changes, risk, capacity, and readiness.
  • Lead discovery, requirements, and solution trade-offs for complex, high-visibility initiatives.
  • Ensure regulatory, model-governance, audit, data-quality, operational, and customer requirements are met.

Quality, Risk & Operational Readiness

  • Maintain mitigation plans, escalation paths, release gates, readiness reviews, and clear accountability across teams.
  • Balance timeline, scope, quality, technical debt, and operational risk in delivery recommendations.
  • Partner with engineering to monitor reliability, defects, stability, and post-launch outcomes.
  • Use root-cause analysis and lessons learned to reduce recurring issues and rework.

Technical Expectations

The Technical Product Manager understands application architecture, data flows, integration patterns, cloud constraints, and operational considerations well enough to guide delivery decisions with engineering.

  • Partner with engineering and architecture on application design, implementation, testing, documentation, and operational readiness.
  • Guide data-processing and integration decisions involving data movement, performance, resilience, debugging, and environment readiness.
  • Partner with Data Science and Analytics to productionize models, features, score workflows, monitoring, and performance measures.
  • Balance customer value, compliance, reliability, scalability, time to value, and technical debt.
  • Communicate requirements, decisions, risks, trade-offs, and status clearly to technical teams and leaders.

Leadership Expectations

Lead through influence and ambiguity, align teams on priorities and trade-offs, and operate independently while strengthening delivery practices and outcomes.

  • Set clear workstream priorities and delivery guardrails while empowering teams to execute.
  • Build commitment through evidence, transparency, and clear trade-offs.
  • Influence stakeholders without direct authority and maintain alignment through change.
  • Coach junior TPMs and partner teams on planning, execution, risk, and accountability.

Qualifications

  • Typically 8+ years in technical product management, application development, engineering, systems analysis, or data-processing delivery, including ownership of a major workstream across multiple teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; financial services, insurance, or banking experience preferred.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum or SAFe delivery from requirements through post-launch adoption.
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into a KPI-aligned 2–3 PI roadmap with priorities, capacity, waterlines, dependencies, and trade-offs.
  • Demonstrated ownership of multi-team execution, credible forecasts, cross-functional decisions, and corrective action.
  • Experience leading risk, quality, release, and operational readiness, including evidence-based escalation and post-launch improvement.
  • Strong technical partnership skills across application design, data processing, integrations, cloud platforms, performance, resiliency, and operational readiness.
  • Clear written and verbal communication for business, technical, and senior leadership audiences.
  • Ability to influence without authority and strengthen the practices of junior TPMs and partner teams.
  • Preferred: Experience with credit risk, consumer reporting, FCRA, model governance, alternative data, scores or predictive models, cloud modernization, and GCP or AWS in an online environment; SAFe PO/PM or related certification.

Expectations in the First 90 Days

  • Learn the product strategy, application ecosystem, delivery model, FactorTrust platform, Alternative Data products, Blended Scores, customer use cases, and regulatory context.
  • Build strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Compliance, Operations, Legal, Marketing, and Customer Success.
  • Assess the roadmap, delivery health, dependencies, quality controls, and operational risks; recommend an initial 2–3 PI plan.
  • Establish a multi-team cadence for planning, forecasting, risk review, decisions, KPI reporting, ownership, and escalation.

What You’ll Accomplish Beyond 90 Days

  • Independently lead discovery, solution design, delivery, testing, release, and adoption for complex initiatives.
  • Own a feasible, KPI-aligned roadmap and delivery waterline across multiple teams and 2–3 PIs.
  • Drive Alternative Credit and FactorTrust initiatives from concept through production, including compliance and modernization work.
  • Lead quality, risk, release, and operational readiness; identify exposure early and drive mitigation.
  • Deliver measurable improvements in customer value, adoption, reliability, compliance, efficiency, and growth.
  • Introduce reusable planning, forecasting, governance, and readiness practices
