Lead Quality Specialist

What's the role?

This position is responsible for providing support to production management team for quality monitoring, auditing, for quality process enhancements & continual improvements, prompt engineering & AI deployments.  This position is under the direct supervision of a Sr. Manager - Quality and is regularly mentored by experienced leader.  This is a developed role for specific advanced skill-set / specialization, as needed for production operations, focused on bringing about wide spread improvements & settings high performance standards for production & management processes. This role involves extensive cross-functional and international interaction

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide data collection & statistical analysis support to multiple projects imbibing the value of data driven decision making
• Convert business requirements into actionable deliverables.
• Foster culture of process re - engineering & simplification, innovation and continual improvements
• Help capture ‘best practices’ / ‘lessons learnt’ and drive knowledge sharing for wider utilization
• Support development / enhancement of quality and related management initiatives for enhancing global production performance
• Utilize advanced problem identification tools and process improvement methodologies
• Contribute towards organizational lean savings targets by Identifying small improvement opportunities, conduct workshops & report out improvements & savings to Management team.
• Support implementation of production management processes across teams and across departments
• Support implementation of Continuous Improvement tools & driving the overall Continual Improvement culture within the organization
• Conduct / Support various improvement workshops by collaborating with various teams / departments in the organization.
• Support development / enhancement of quality and related management initiatives for enhancing global production performance

 

Who are you?

• Relevant work experience of 7+ years (or equivalent combination of advanced education and relevant work experience).
• Demonstrable training/certification/usage of quality systems, relevant LSS methodologies, and/or project management processes will be desirable
• Good knowledge of MS - Office applications with emphasis on presentation, word, and excel & preferably visio & Minitab
• Basic acquaintance in Prompt Engineering & AI agent creation & deployment
• Detail oriented with good analytical and problem solving skills
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Should be Certified Lean Six Sigma White Belt & Preferably a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Preferably a Certified Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015
