Bruker Microbiology & Infection Diagnostics (BMID) provides advanced solutions for the rapid identification and analysis of microorganisms, supporting both clinical and applied microbiology. The division is expanded its capabilities in molecular and broader diagnostics through recent acquisitions, including ElitechGroup (May 2024), to address the growing complexity of infectious diseases and diagnostic needs.
The role of Commercial Excellence Manager (m/f/d) is to own and drive Salesforce (SFDC) and Order-to-Order (O2O) commercial process governance, ensuring aligned, efficient, and scalable processes across the organisation, while leading system rollout, integration (incl. SAP), and continuous improvement to support business growth and acquisitions.
You will be part of the Strategy and PMI team who are tasked with developing a High-Transactional Business Model (HTBM) by enhancing our processes and systems whilst supporting broader integration efforts across the organisation.
Responsibilities
SFDC Ownership & Governance
- Own SFDC (platform and O2O commercial process governance, ensuring clear accountability, structured decision-making, and alignment across the commercial organisation, including interfaces with systems such as SAP.
- Working closely with SFDC Architect, Admin and Developers to ensure BMID requirements are captured, implemented and developed in a timely manner.
- Represent governance of SFDC with Biosystems development team to ensure projects are planned appropriately and BMID resource is utilized
System Rollout & Development
- Lead SFDC rollout and ongoing development, including roadmap planning, requirement capture processes, system implementation, and onboarding of new businesses and acquisitions.
- Develop SFDC “fit-gap” requirement approach to onboarding new business (including integration), creating structured approach, check-lists, assessing “as-is” and “to-be” requirements for implementation and execution.
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Coordinate and align commercial processes across BMID ComEx, Sales, and Business Management, ensuring effective execution and adherence to SF governance frameworks.
- Enable digital alignment of the BMID portfolio to support guided cross-selling, with integrated dashboards providing visibility of opportunities across divisions and strengthening sales communication and alignment.
Integration & Continuous Improvement
- Drive SFDC–SAP integration and continuous system optimisation, working closely with Business Excellence and PMI teams to support evolving business and integration needs.
Manage Commercial Excellence Team
- Ensure efficient SFDC operations and sales enablement through first-level user support, training, pricing maintenance, and system optimisation to drive effective day-to-day commercial processes.
- Deliver data-driven insights and campaign execution by defining reporting requirements, building PowerBI/ SAC dashboards, and supporting sales and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or related field
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and KPI management
- Excellent experience in Salesforce (SFDC) and commercial process governance
- Proven track record in system rollout, integration, and transformation programmes
- Experience working in cross-functional, international environments
- Strong stakeholder management and change leadership skills
- Fluent in English (min. C1 Level); German is a plus
