Pay: $70,000–$75,000 per year, based on experience
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week with occasional overtime
Location: Remote but MUST live in CA, supporting California programs; travel required as needed

AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs that are designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment.
As a Recruiter, you'll lead high-volume recruiting efforts for AlphaBEST programs throughout California, helping ensure our programs have the qualified team members they need to serve students and families. You'll partner closely with field leaders to understand staffing needs, attract and engage candidates, and move qualified applicants efficiently through the hiring process.
We're looking for a professional who:
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment and knows how to keep candidates moving through the hiring process
• Builds strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers and provides responsive, timely support
• Is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple locations and hiring priorities
• Takes initiative to source candidates and develop creative solutions for hard-to-fill positions
• Understands the importance of candidate qualifications, licensing requirements, and hiring compliance
In this role, you will:
• Manage full-cycle recruiting for multiple AlphaBEST programs and locations throughout California
• Partner with field leaders to understand staffing needs, hiring priorities, and upcoming program launches
• Source candidates through job boards, resume searches, outreach, hiring events, referrals, networking, and other recruiting strategies
• Review applicants to ensure they meet position qualifications, including education, experience, and applicable licensing requirements
• Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, extend offers, and support candidates through the pre-employment process
• Help ensure hiring and pre-employment requirements are completed accurately and timely
• Maintain accurate candidate information and activity within the applicant tracking system
• Plan and participate in hiring events, job fairs, and other recruiting initiatives as needed
• Provide excellent and timely service to candidates, hiring managers, and internal partners
• Track recruiting activity and staffing progress and communicate updates, challenges, and hiring needs to leadership
• Support additional recruiting and workforce initiatives as needed
Requirements:
• Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a high-volume or multi-site environment
• Experience using applicant tracking systems and online recruiting platforms
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate engagement skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple positions, locations, and priorities simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and effectively solve problems in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer skills, including Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout California as needed for hiring events, program support, and recruiting initiatives
• Experience recruiting in California and/or knowledge of California hiring and licensing requirements preferred
