Employee Benefits Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a team . This role is ideal for a driven professional looking to grow their book of business while working in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will manage a portfolio of accounts, handle renewals, and conduct open enrollment meetings.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $50,000 - $80,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Commission: Percentage of commission on the book of business
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of 10-15 accounts, primarily with 50+ lives
- Handle renewals and conduct open enrollment meetings (face-to-face)
- Quote new and renewal business as needed
- Utilize Employee Navigator software to manage accounts and streamline processes
- Collaborate with the team to ensure client satisfaction and successful account management
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Life and Health (L&H) license required
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in employee benefits or a related field; candidates with assistant-level experience looking to advance are encouraged to apply
- Software Proficiency: Experience with Employee Navigator is highly preferred
- Soft Skills:
- Driven and self-motivated
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Well-spoken and professional in client interactions
