Job Description:

Power Electronics Applications Engineer

This is an associate level position in application/system engineering. We’re looking for an Application’s Engineer with 2-3 years experience in power electronics to assist in the design of new DCDC power modules and perform customer support functions for customers in EU and US.

Job Functions

• Research and design new DCDC power module products.
• Work with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing to verify and develop new features for DC/DC Converters.
• Provide technical support and training for EU and US customers
• Develop application-based evaluation platforms to demonstrate capabilities in real-world environments.
• Write articles, application notes, and other documentation.

Qualifications

• Entry-Level applicants welcome
• Open minded, rigorous, innovative.
• Strong system level knowledge in DC/DC converters.
• Rich hardware and bench experience in low-mid voltage environment (<60V).
• Familiar with system level simulation and analysis with SIMPLIS.
• Familiar with PCB design software such as OrCAD or Altium.
• Good to have programming experience (Python).
• Fluent communication skills in English.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Previous experience in a power supply manufacturer or power management IC company preferred
• MSEE, majored in power electronics
