Job Summary:
Summary
The Food Service Supervisor oversees daily operations of the kitchen including production, tray assembly and delivery, and retail areas. Always maintains proper cleanliness and HACCP procedures/food safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supports and promotes the mission and values of Covenant Health Ministry.
- Responsible for timely delivery of patient trays while adhering to regular and therapeutic diets.
- Follows recipe compliance and dietary restrictions/allergens.
- Performs area orientation and training for all new hires within immediate control
- Follows HACCP procedures, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Monitors daily production, cooking, temperature, and sanitation logs
- Performs kitchen opening and closing duties
- Responsible for cash handling
- Ensures employees are adhering to personal hygiene and department uniform standards
- Helps with scheduling and ordering as needed
- Assumes role of Person in Charge in absence of Operations Manager or Director
- Other duties as consistent with this role.

- Experience with HACCP procedures required
- Serv-Safe Certified Required
Education and Experience
- Management/Supervisor experience required
An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with this position that involves a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching. Occasional lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs. Some stress related to high level of responsibility for quality care.

Comp Range:
$17.73 - $24.42Rate of pay displayed reflects the beginning of the pay scale. At the time of an offer, determination of your offer will reflect your skills and experience as it relates to the position.
