Job Description

As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned construction-related areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and badge procedures. You will respond to alarms and security-related concerns, document activity, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a construction-related location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the business, perimeter, access points, and active work areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, hazards, damaged property, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery access procedures while maintaining accurate activity and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
