About This Job
The Senior Fixed Income Analyst is responsible for conducting in-depth credit research and analysis across corporate and municipal fixed income securities while supporting portfolio manager decision-making across fixed income SMAs. Leveraging advanced experience across corporate, municipal, and structured products markets, this role independently conducts deep fundamental, market, and economic research; develops investment theses; and provides high-conviction recommendations to portfolio managers. These recommendations include issuer-specific guidance and portfolio parameter changes, both of which directly impact day-to-day trading activities across a $2 billion portfolio. The role works directly with financial advisors to support end-client conversations, participates in portfolio positioning and the creation of new strategies, and additionally executes trades across client portfolios with precision, market awareness, and product expertise.
It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work as a Hybrid employee, with three (3) or more days each week required on-site at one of the listed office locations.
Candidates should be located within a commutable distance to an office. Internal candidates currently aligned to an Orion office location may be given preference; however, internal candidates with varying work arrangements may be considered based on experience and business needs. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.
