What You Will Do

Ascension Texas Cardiovascular is seeking a dedicated provider to deliver high-quality patient care in Kyle, TX.

 

• Join an established team of 7 physicians and 8 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Balanced 1:9 weekend rotation with supplemental compensation
• Combined inpatient and outpatient practice setting
• Employed position within a trusted nonprofit health system
• Deliver comprehensive cardiology care, guiding general and interventional patients through tailored treatment plans to optimize long-term cardiovascular health
• Perform clinical evaluations and manage complex cardiac conditions, collaborating closely with interventional cardiologists on pre-procedure workups and post-intervention recovery
• Manage urgent inpatient consultations and rounding, delivering timely critical care decisions to enhance patient stabilization and reduce hospital length of stay
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, risk reduction, and procedure outcomes to empower shared decision-making
• Ensure seamless continuity of care through effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and accurate, timely documentation

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.

Education:

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
