Business Risk & Support Manager (80-100%)
We are seeking a Business Risk & Support Manager to join our Corporate Services Business Support team on a permanent basis.
This role offers a unique opportunity to combine business risk management responsibilities with broad exposure to the operational activities and strategic priorities of Corporate Services. You will play a key role in overseeing operational, technology and information risks while supporting business initiatives, cross-functional projects and day-to-day operational activities.
As a trusted partner to stakeholders across the organization, you will contribute to strengthening the control environment, improving operational efficiency and ensuring the successful delivery of Corporate Services priorities.
YOUR ROLE
Risk Management
- Oversee data security, access management, and operational incident management across the unit.
- Ensure business activities, processes, and documentation comply with Group policies, internal standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Partner closely with risk owners, control owners, subject matter experts, and internal and external auditors.
- Conduct periodic control reviews and spot checks related to cash management, procurement, security, access rights, and other sensitive processes, ensuring compliance and the timely resolution of identified issues.
- Drive, coordinate, and monitor risk remediation plans, ensuring actions are clearly defined, appropriately owned, and delivered within agreed timelines.
- Track and report on the resolution of identified issues, ensuring effective closure, appropriate documentation, and sustainable control enhancements.
- Coordinate the resolution of audit findings and regulatory matters, ensuring accountability and timely follow-up.
- Support and coordinate the periodic review and update of internal guidelines, procedures, and directives.
- Contribute to the strengthening of the risk culture through awareness initiatives and best-practice sharing.
Business Management & Operational Support
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives across Corporate Services, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and successful delivery of business objectives.
- Support the Chief of Staff in coordinating key priorities, monitoring action plans and following up on strategic initiatives across Corporate Services.
- Contribute to Corporate Services communications and events.
- Support the development and maintenance of the unit’s documentation, intranet content and presentations.
- Provide operational support and backup across the Business Support team, including activities related to travel management, insurance programs, art collection administration, supplier invoice processing and other support functions.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and enhance service efficiency across the Business Support function.
YOUR PROFILE
- 3-7 years of relevant professional experience in banking, financial services, consulting, business risk management or operational control functions.
- Higher education and/or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
- Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities across different teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and hands-on approach.
- Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across teams and functions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
