We are creating smarter ways to address heart disease and heart risks by uniting patients, care teams, and researchers on a secure, technology-enabled platform that drives clinical innovation and offers a path towards better patient outcomes.

This is precision cardiology, and we know it’s within reach.

What Will You Do?

The Overview

The Supply and Inventory Planner is responsible for developing and executing manufacturing and inventory plans to ensure the timely availability of clinical supply kits for global clinical studies. This role partners closely with Clinical Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Packaging Operations, Clinical Operations, Quality, and Logistics to translate clinical demand forecasts into manufacturing and packaging plans while maintaining appropriate finished kit inventory levels. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience in supply planning, inventory management, or production planning within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated manufacturing environment.

The Specifics

  • Develop and maintain manufacturing and packaging supply plans for clinical supply kits based on clinical study forecasts, enrollment projections, and site demand.
  • Monitor finished clinical kit inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted supply to global clinical sites while minimizing excess inventory and product expiration.
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Packaging Operations, Clinical Supply Chain, Quality, and Logistics to execute kit production and replenishment plans.
  • Review clinical demand forecasts and translate requirements into production schedules for kit assembly and packaging activities.
  • Analyze inventory levels, kit consumption trends, enrollment changes, and production performance to identify potential supply risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Manage inventory planning parameters, including safety stock, reorder points, and target inventory levels for clinical supply kits.
  • Support planning activities for new clinical studies, protocol amendments, country expansions, and enrollment changes.
  • Track kit production status and inventory availability to ensure study milestones and patient enrollment timelines are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve material shortages, production constraints, and inventory discrepancies that could impact clinical supply.
  • Maintain accurate planning data within ERP, inventory management, and clinical supply planning systems.
  • Prepare inventory and supply planning reports, including key performance indicators such as inventory accuracy, service levels, and supply plan adherence.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory optimization, planning efficiency, and supply chain performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Distribution Practices (GDP), Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and applicable regulatory requirements.
