The Operations Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Woodward Tahoe's Bunker, Summer Camps, Grind Café, and Front Desk operations. This position will provide leadership, coordination, and guidance across multiple guest-facing areas while ensuring a fun, safe, efficient, and high-quality experience for both guests and employees.

While every day at Woodward Tahoe is different and responsibilities may shift based on business needs, here is what you can expect to dive into in this role as the Operations Manager:
Collaborate with the Operations leadership team to oversee the daily operations of the Bunker and Summer Camps.
Oversee Grind Café and Front Desk operations, including scheduling, payroll, staffing, and compliance.
Conduct weekly operational meetings to review performance, identify opportunities, and address operational needs.
Coordinate day-to-day operations to ensure a seamless customer journey and consistently address guest needs.
Work on the front lines during peak business hours to maintain efficient operations and provide leadership and support to staff.
Assist with staff training, development, and performance management to promote strong customer service and operational efficiency.
Recruit, schedule, train, and support employees to ensure appropriate staffing levels and a positive team environment.
Monitor and enforce Woodward Tahoe policies, procedures, safety standards, and operational requirements.
Utilize POS systems, including RTP and Square, to manage transactions, payments, inventory, and operational reporting.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in operations, hospitality, food & beverage, recreation, summer camps, or a related customer-facing environment.
Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Professional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively resolve guest and employee concerns.
Experience with POS systems; RTP and Square experience preferred.
