This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful solutions while collaborating with talented teams in a global environment, as part of a dedicated Competency Center team serving a specific airline customer, with strong ownership of long-term delivery and customer outcomes.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the design and development of Java-based applications and services through hands-on solution design, implementation and technical guidance
• Provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality solutions from design and development through testing, maintenance and operational support.
• Lead the investigation and resolution of complex technical challenges, driving root-cause analysis and sustainable solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts through proactive system maintenance, technical debt reduction, and resolution of complex application issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Continuously explore and adopt new technologies, tools, and best practices.
• Lead technical discussions and solution clarifications with customers and stakeholders.

About the Ideal Candidate

Technical Skills

• Experience developing enterprise software applications using Java and Java Enterprise technologies
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring, or Hibernate is an advantage.
• Experience with Angular is considered an advantage.
• Experience leading technical delivery within Agile development environments (Scrum/Kanban)
• Experience designing and optimizing multithreaded or concurrent applications is a strong advantage.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, engineering principles, and software development best practices, with the ability to guide technical decisions and elevate engineering quality.
