Overview
Our client is a consulting firm and they are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support large‑scale transformation initiatives within the insurance sector. This role is ideal for professionals with a consulting background who have hands‑on experience in insurance operations, transformation programs, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to define transformation objectives and translate them into actionable requirements.
- Conduct business process reviews within insurance operations (policy administration, claims, underwriting, distribution).
- Support operating model redesign and identify opportunities for efficiency, compliance, and customer experience improvements.
- Prepare business cases, impact assessments, and change roadmaps for transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with project managers, solution architects, and vendors to ensure alignment between business needs and delivery outcomes.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder discussions to capture requirements and validate solutions.
- Monitor transformation progress, track KPIs, and provide insightful reporting to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related business field.
- Minimum 6 years's experience in business analysis, owning delivery from initiation to rollout.
- Consulting background is a must (Big 4 or equivalent strategy/operations consulting firms).
- Exposure to digital transformation projects in insurance (e.g., automation, customer journey redesign, regulatory change).
- Ability to connect business strategy with execution — bridging the gap between leadership vision and operational delivery.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience in business analysis, process improvement, or operating model design.
- Comfortable working in cross‑functional teams and managing multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English and Cantonese, Mandarin is an advantage for cross‑border collaboration.
