AP Accountant - French Speaker

Verisure (in Portugal known as Securitas Direct) is seeking a talented, hands-on and passionate AP Accountant to strenghten our France-based Finance Team. The role will report to the Shared Services Center Manager and will be based in Lisbon.

On the back of the extraordinary growth we have enjoyed in the past years, we aim to strengthen our Shared Services Center team and further develop the Accounting function. The Senior AP Accountant will be a key member of the team and play a critical role to achieve this objective.

Responsibilities will include, among others:

• P2P process: receiving and processing invoices, assure communication to and from all

• Point of Contact for internal and external stakeholders

• Review and assure proper classification of cost center and accounts on POs

• Weekly and Month-end closing procedures including aging reports

• Process Payments

• Assist manager and peers on the daily activity

• Performing Ad Hoc Accounts Payable and Procurement duties as required

• Reconcile AP accounts on a monthly basis

• Collaboration with local finance specialists to accounting, tax, annual reports etc. to ensure adherence to local legislation

The position will be based in Lisbon (Portugal)
 

Reports and organization structure

This position will report hierarchically to the Shared Services Center Manager, based in Lisbon and functionally to the Head of AP team based in Antony (Paris) France.

Experience and Qualifications

As a result, we are looking for a self-starter and high potential / top performer individual who will combine Accounting knowledge with a proactive business mindset focused on driving value to the business.

• Education degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting / Business with deep understanding of Accounting and financial concepts (qualified accountant ideal)

• Strong interest for Accounting

• At least 2 years track-record within Accounting in an international environment

• Fluent in written and spoken French
