Inside Sales Representative

Future Tech Enterprise is seeking a detail oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our sales organization through customer service, quote generation, order processing, purchasing, and vendor coordination. You will work closely with customers, sales representatives, distributors, and technology vendors to ensure a seamless experience from initial opportunity through order fulfillment.

This position has responsibilities that include working with a government contractor; therefore, U.S. citizenship is required. 

This full-time position is on site at our Fort Lauderdale Headquarters. Work hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30a – 5:30p Eastern time. Our benefit offerings include Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance; 401k with company match and PTO.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Interacting professionally with customers on operational issues, projects, and contracts, handling routine matters with vendors, and liaising with internal departments
• Building excellent relationships with Future Tech's sales staff, our customers, and technology vendors
• Working with OEMs and distributors to compile competitively priced IT product quotes
• Preparing quotes, proposals, special bid pricing, and deal registrations
• Communicating with customers to gather requirements and specifications
• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is complete and entered correctly into internal systems
• Managing purchase orders with distributors and technology vendors to support customer orders and project requirements
• Tracking orders from placement through fulfillment and proactively communicating order status updates to customers and internal stakeholders
• Working closely with sales, procurement, and operations teams to ensure timely order processing and delivery
• Reconciling order discrepancies and coordinating resolutions with customers, vendors, and internal departments
• Appropriately escalating critical issues and providing timely updates to customers and management

Requirements:

• At least one year of business-to-business account/service, order management, purchasing, sales support, or related experience
• Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Self-driven, motivated, and extremely detail-oriented
• Strong organizational and PC skills
• Must excel in a fast-paced environment, focused on driving customer satisfaction
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be well-versed in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• ERP, SAP, or other order management system experience is a plus
• Experience processing customer orders, purchase orders, and working with vendors or distributors is preferred
• Understanding and knowledge of servers, storage, basic networking, and computers is highly preferred
• Knowledge of IT OEM and distribution channels is also highly preferred
