seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Technical Advisor / Sales Estimator to support its printing and manufacturing operations. This position combines technical product knowledge, customer relationship management, and estimating responsibilities.

The Technical Advisor will work closely with customers to understand their manufacturing and printing requirements, evaluate project specifications, recommend appropriate products or solutions, and prepare accurate estimates and quotations.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in the printing, commercial printing, industrial manufacturing, or related technical sales industry, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical resource and point of contact for customers regarding products, services, and manufacturing applications.
• Review customer requests, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate estimates and quotations.
• Evaluate customer needs and recommend appropriate products and technical solutions.
• Work with internal manufacturing, production, and sales teams to confirm project feasibility, specifications, and pricing.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through ongoing communication and support.
• Respond to technical inquiries and assist with troubleshooting product or application concerns.
• Follow up on outstanding quotations and identify opportunities to develop new business.
• Maintain accurate customer records, pricing information, and sales documentation.
• Monitor customer requirements and communicate changing needs to internal departments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in printing, commercial printing, manufacturing, or industrial product sales.
• Experience with estimating, quoting, or evaluating customer specifications.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical products.
• Ability to interpret technical information and communicate solutions effectively.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general business software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with printing presses, printing rollers, or related printing equipment and supplies.
• Background in technical sales, estimating, or customer technical support.
• Experience working with manufacturing customers and production teams.
